Align to Path: follow a shape

Align to Path lays copies along another shape's outline, each turned to follow it.

Try this

  1. Press play. In Demo 1 the copies slide along the curve.
  2. Select the copies in Demo 1, open Modifiers and click Align to Path. Path names the shape.
  3. Drag Start to slide the copies, and Spread to cover more or less of the path.
  4. Turn off Follow the path to keep copies upright, as in Demo 2. Angle turns them all.
