Variation: alternate a random scatter

With a Random curve, Alternate flips every other copy, turning a scatter into a zigzag.

Try this

  1. Compare Demos 1 to 3: the same scatter at Alternate 0%, 50% and 100%.
  2. Press play. Demo 4 moves Alternate from 0% to 100%.
  3. Select a shape, open Modifiers, click Variation and drag Alternate.
  4. Demos 5 and 6 alternate color: even and odd copies take opposite halves of the ramp.
