Variation: vary each copy

Variation changes one property across the copies an Array or Echo makes: size, turn, color and more.

Try this

  1. Press play. The ring fans out and folds back; the trail of ghosts shrinks and grows.
  2. Select a shape, open Modifiers, click Variation, and change Property to pick what varies.
  3. Mode Step adds the Amount per copy; Spread shares it across all. On Spread, try Curve Sine or Random.
  4. Click Array, then Add a variation, to vary a second property on the same copies.
