Disintegrate: blow a layer away

Disintegrate breaks a layer into motes that blow away on a wind, and back again when you scrub backwards.

Try this

  1. Press play, then drag the playhead backwards.
  2. Click Photograph, open Effects and click Disintegrate.
  3. Drag Wind, Mote size or Turbulence.
  4. Click Dust region and tick Contain. The dust stays inside the ellipse.
