Light rays: shafts from a layer

Light rays make a bright layer cast shafts of light; layers in front cast shadows.

Try this

  1. Press play. The lower lamp turns and its shafts sweep across the headline.
  2. Click the top lamp, open Effects, click Light rays, and drag Reach and Intensity.
  3. Drag a dark bar. Its shadow in the light moves with it.
  4. On the Backlight artboard, press play: light leaks between the letters of BACKLIT.
