Scanlines: a picture in bent lines
Scanlines redraws a layer as rows of lines or dots, bent by its brightness.
Try this
- Compare Demo 1, the plain shape, with Demo 2, the same shape with Scanlines.
- Click the shape in Demo 2, open Effects and click Scanlines. Drag Displace to bend the lines.
- Change Pattern to Dots, or Direction to Vertical.
- Tick Keep inside the layer's own shape to draw lines only on the shape, as in Demo 3.
